Tuaya
This is my producer and DJ project, inspired by the dance floor and Mexico City’s sounds. My music is influenced by baselines that go from techmex riding the 1/16s to hypnotic cumbia-like grooves; ; melodic semitones, dessertic tensions and rhythmic chicha baroque arpeggios.
My first EP Quiero was published by Phisica (RETI #010) and includes mixes by Mijo and Jaaw. It was featured by Beatport as Best New Hype Deep House October 2024.
Behind the decks, my sets encompass a fun spectrum of genres—bright disco, deep house, afro/latin house, amapiano, jackin/funky house, and indie dance. I enjoy sharing my eclectic musical interests and darker atmospheres while also building on the vibrant energy of global dance music.

An audiovisual project that creates sonic rituals and trippy soundscapes. Musically curated by a duo that incorporates analog and electronic elements to create a wide spectrum sound bath. A spaceship that operates with synths and quartz, with strings and wind, with drones and harmonies. I use it along my partner in crime, Voz Medicia, to explore the frontiers of sound and transport the listener to their own depths and heights.
We make use of different ceremonial paths to induce states of trance and awareness. From the medicinal ambiences to textures inherited from prog rock and psychedelic explorations, from darkness to light, and back again.
The experience is a dialogue between our sound and the visual poems of Alejandro Marra Mejia. We throw shows every other month in Mexico City and generate the RAD collection.
